The Cognitive Load Theory describes the cognitive load that our memory maintains while taking in information. This psychological theory illustrates that the amount of information that our brain carries should be retained in smaller, bolder instances. Learning about this concept is important for all designers as it offers itself as a guide for users in the ways we deliver experiences and interfaces. During this project, I looked deep into relating concepts like multit-tasking and information retention. Slideshow presentations, Youtube Videos, and blog posts were made to demonstrate the theories of Cognitive Load Theory.
